Role Summary:

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and deploying the frontend and backend systems for our innovative products. Your work will involve emerging web standards and advanced tools to create web-based video and audio editing applications. Technologies you'll use include Webcodecs, WebAssembly, FFMPEG, and frameworks such as NextJS, React, Redux, Mobx, Typescript, and JavaScript.

On the backend, you will develop and deploy services to our Kubernetes infrastructure, write secure and scalable Python code, and interface with our state-of-the-art foundation model. You'll also build event streaming and processing logic using tools like SQS, Kafka, S3, and DynamoDB.

You'll collaborate with a passionate team of engineers and researchers to create truly transformative technology.

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, React, NextJS, and TypeScript.
• Proven ability to work closely with design and product teams to deliver impactful engineering projects.
• A user-focused engineer passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to creatives.
• Familiarity with audio/video web standards and tools such as Webcodecs, WebRTC, HLS, MP-DASH, FFMPEG, MP4, and MKV.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments with a strong work ethic and drive to innovate.

Preferred Experience:

• Backend development with Python or Golang.
• Frontend development with React
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth2 and OIDC.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Playwright.
• Expertise in advanced web technologies such as WASM, WebSockets, IndexedDB, Promises, and Generators.
• Proficiency in building and scaling cloud-based infrastructure with Kubernetes and EKS.
• Experience developing pipelines and event streaming/processing systems on AWS (e.g., SQS, Kafka).
• Experience creating REST APIs for distributed systems.
• Familiarity with deploying machine learning models using Kubernetes and Docker on NVIDIA hardware.
