We are an Iconic wine producer in Napa and we are currently searching for an experienced and dynamic Procurement Category Manager to join our team in the beverage/wine industry. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices to ensure best value for the company.
• Monitor and track supplier performance, implementing improvement plans as necessary.
• Manage the procurement of gift boxes, labels, dry goods, and other materials related to the wine industry.
• Work closely with production and demand planning teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and manage inventory levels.
• Continually identify and implement cost reduction opportunities, driving efficiencies and savings across the procurement function.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor strategies, and industry innovations, using this knowledge to inform procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities align with company objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• CAPS (Certified Professional in Supply Management) and ISM (Institute for Supply Management) certifications are required.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in supplier relationship management and performance tracking.
• Strong skills in cost management and contract/price negotiation.
• Experience in sourcing strategy execution.
• Knowledge of gift boxes, labels, dry goods, and the wine industry is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with vendors, production planning, demand planning, and cost reduction strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred.

Compensation

Salary: $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
