Position Overview

The IT Field Resource role involves performing IT duties professionally while collaborating closely with nursing homes to ensure system functionality.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT support role experience such as Help Desk Tier 1-3.
  • 5+ years supporting 100+ users or multiple locations.
  • Experience supporting multiple facilities as a mobile technician.
  • Knowledge of IT cabling infrastructure and troubleshooting Level 1-2 issues.
  • Ability to work with Networking, Engineering, Telco, Help Desk teams on tickets, projects, and updates.
  • Experience deploying various equipment including desktops, laptops, tablets, peripherals, printers, copiers, and medical support devices.
  • Proficiency with HP, Lenovo, Dell computers, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Microsoft Suite, Citrix, Active Directory, Workday, Edge, Chrome OS, iOS, Android, Zendesk, ServiceNow, and imaging tools.
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and technology vendors to enhance systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows 8.1, 10, 11.
  • Knowledge of mobile device management and configuration tools.
  • Applicants must be 25 years or older due to travel requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, service, and order equipment.
  • Install networking and Telco equipment.
  • Manage warranty requests and returns.
  • Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Process Zendesk tickets and equipment quotes.
  • Manage ServiceNow directory.
  • Participate in team meetings and culture events.
  • Travel locally within Northern California and occasionally out of market.
  • Support facility administration, nursing, and service center teams.
  • Reconcile expenses via AMEX Concur.
  • Assist fellow team members and manage projects.

Working Conditions

This role supports 24/7 operations with extensive travel (75%+), including driving and occasional air travel. Work environments include offices, network rooms, and storage areas.
