Job Description

Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support to Bio-Rad customers. This includes installing, maintaining, and repairing Bio-Rad instruments and software, as well as providing training to customers on the use of Bio-Rad products.

Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair Bio-Rad instruments and software
2. Provide training to customers on the use of Bio-Rad products
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area
5. Follow all safety procedures
6. Keep up-to-date on the latest Bio-Rad products and technologies
7. Work independently and as part of a team
8. Travel as required

Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
2. 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
3. Experience with Bio-Rad products is preferred
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Ability to travel as required
