DevOps / Automation Engineer – Job Description

Requirements:

1. 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps or Automation Engineering.
2. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is preferred.
3. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
4. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform.
5. Proficiency in CI/CD (Jenkins), GitOps, and automated deployment pipelines.
6. Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, with a solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker.
7. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage, configure, and automate OpenShift environments for scalable application deployment.
2. Work with development teams to integrate and deploy applications within OpenShift.
3. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
4. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure OpenShift platform high availability.
5. Optimize and scale OpenShift clusters for improved performance and efficiency.
6. Maintain system configuration documentation and best practices.
7. Provide technical support and guidance on OpenShift best practices.
8. Stay updated on emerging technologies and DevOps trends related to OpenShift and Kubernetes.
9. Implement security measures to protect applications and infrastructure within OpenShift.
