About Hum.ai

Hum.ai is building planetary superintelligence. Backed by top funds, we've raised over $10M and are now focused on building.

The Role

You'll be our first full-time product hire. Joining at the inflection point where technology becomes product, you'll work directly with our CEO and engineering leads to define the productization path for our technology and lay the groundwork for a high-performance, product-driven organization powered by technical excellence.

This is a hands-on, 0-to-1 role focused on:

  1. Defining and conducting evaluations (both internal and user-facing)
  2. Translating raw model and infrastructure capabilities into usable product flows
  3. Architecting the first end-user experience

What You'll Do

  1. Work closely with the CEO and engineering teams to turn frontier tech into a minimum lovable product
  2. Prototype ambitious product visions quickly, turning ideas like "I want it to feel like this" into reality
  3. Run tight, technical loops with early users to distinguish valuable signals from noise
  4. Help define success metrics: evaluations, human feedback, downstream impact
  5. Ship initial versions of the product and help establish a company culture focused on building AGI for the physical world efficiently, with a user-first approach

Requirements

  • 5–10 years in product management, ideally with 2+ years in AI startups. You should identify as a PM or TPM, not a founder, operations person, or solutions architect.

  • Fluent in working with technical teams (ML researchers, infrastructure engineers) and translating scientific capabilities into user value quickly

Bonus

  • Experience in 0-1 product development from seed to product-market fit and beyond

  • Background in engineering or applied machine learning

  • Experience shipping AI-native products or conducting rigorous foundation model evaluations

  • Scrappy, proactive mentality (“bias for action”)

  • Willingness to coach and be coached. Our team values learning, humility, and mutual growth.

Why us?

  • Use your skills to make a significant, positive impact on people and the planet

  • Work with passionate, caring colleagues

  • Competitive startup salary + meaningful equity

To apply, please send the following to ...@hum.ai:

  • A detailed resume highlighting relevant experience

  • A personal statement about who you are and why you're interested. We read everything you send.
