The Town of Yountville is looking for a Part-Time Building Attendant to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of the Community Center and other facilities.

In this role, you'll assist with various tasks, including setting up for events and programs, greeting guests, and ensuring the building remains clean, safe, and welcoming. You'll be part of the action during private rentals, community events, and recreation activities! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of customer service and flexible work hours.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for programs, rentals, and special events
• Monitor events and enforce facility rules with a calm, friendly approach
• Keep spaces clean and presentable, including restrooms and common areas
• Provide excellent customer service to walk-in visitors and event guests
• Stay on top of safety and security for everyone in the facility
• Respond to issues quickly - whether it's a broken light, a spill, or a guest needing help
• Work independently

What We're Looking For:

• Someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working solo
• Great communication and people skills
• Able to stay calm and helpful when things get busy or unexpected issues come up
• Experience working with the public (in events, customer service, or similar)
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus

The Details:

• Part-time schedule varies - includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., move furniture, and stand for long periods
• CPR/First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire
• Background check/fingerprinting is required
