We are on the lookout for dedicated Cannabis Enthusiasts to join our team as Retail Sales Representatives. As a representative, you will be the welcoming face of Velvet Cannabis, committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and facilitating sales.
• Advise customers on cannabis products tailored to their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Stay informed on industry standards, new products, strains, and legal changes.
• Process transactions using the Velvet Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized dispensary environment.
• Educate customers on the safe and responsible use of cannabis products.
• Promote current sales, specials, and discounts by upselling when appropriate.
• Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with legal age requirements.
• Assist with inventory management and sales floor organization.
• Contribute to maintaining hygienic conditions throughout the dispensary.
• Capable of standing for at least 3 hours and performing various physical tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Availability to work during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in the cannabis industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains and their effects.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
• A genuine passion for cannabis and the industry.
• A proactive approach to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
