Summary: The Grant and Contract Funding Specialist is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and managing grant and contract funding opportunities to maximize financial support for a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role involves researching grant and contract funding sources, preparing compelling grant applications with all funder requested supporting documentation, and managing programmatic deliverables, including those required by HRSA through the Electronic Handbook (EHB) and Grants.gov. The Specialist must work autonomously to meet deadlines, ensure compliance with funder requirements, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to coordinate necessary inputs for successful submissions. Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to secure funding at federal, state, local, and private grant and contract funding levels are essential.
