Job Title: Mammography Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Mammography Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid State License required Certifications: BLS, RHM, CRT, ARRT Must-Have: - BLS - RHM - CRT - 2 years of experience Description: Competently performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures. Delivers accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from patients and their support groups through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department. Patient Age Groups: Adults Daily Census: 66 Number of Visits Per Day: 66 Number of Rooms: 3 Additional Information: Specific charting experience preferred. Background policy applies. Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing. Modules are non-billable and are factored into non-billable hours. Any time spent on modules exceeding allotted hours is billable.
