Transitional Housing Administrator

Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Hours: (Monday – Friday)

On-site - Sonoma, CA

Healthcare Recruiters International (HCRI) is partnering with a respected nonprofit to hire a Transitional Housing Administrator to oversee services for current and former foster youth (ages 16–21). This leadership role is responsible for daily operations, staff supervision, compliance, and program development—ensuring youth receive trauma-informed support to transition into stable, independent living.

Transitional Housing Administrator Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations with a trauma-informed, youth-focused approach
• Supervise and support house coordinators and THP team
• Ensure compliance with licensing, contracts, and program standards
• Develop personalized service plans for youth (education, life skills, housing)
• Respond to youth crises and promote autonomy
• Collaborate with county agencies, housing partners, and community orgs
• Manage program budgets, rent subsidies, and required reporting

Transitional Housing Administrator Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Social Work, Psychology, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 3+ years in youth services or housing programs; 2+ years in leadership
• Knowledge of CA foster care system (THP+FC/THP+), and trauma-informed care
• Group Home or STRTP Administrator Certification (required or willing to obtain)
• Valid CA driver's license; clear DOJ/FBI background
• Some evening/weekend availability

Transitional Housing Administrator Compensation:

$80K–$100K / Annually DOE
