ProMach's MBF North America, a leading supplier of bottling and packaging equipment, is seeking an experienced Senior Parts Specialist to join our Petaluma, California team. This key role serves as the primary point of contact for aftermarket parts support, managing customer inquiries, providing expert guidance on replacement parts, and ensuring timely follow-up to keep equipment running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will combine strong customer service skills with deep technical knowledge of our products and systems, collaborating closely with field service technicians, warehouse staff, and accounting to support efficient parts operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this position plays a vital role in building customer confidence, driving operational excellence, and supporting business growth.

Does this work interest you?

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries regarding aftermarket parts, providing accurate information and timely support.
  • Research and verify part numbers, pricing, and availability to ensure correct order processing.
  • Manage post-sale follow-up to address customer concerns, delays, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Support warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory audits, and cycle counts as needed.
  • Assist Field Service Technicians with parts coordination to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Utilize inventory management software to maintain accurate stock levels and generate reports for management.
  • Proactively identify critical spare parts needs and promote preventative maintenance spares to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as accounting, engineering, and operations to ensure smooth parts ordering and project completion.

Hourly range: $36.00 - $39.00

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and basic mechanical and electrical concepts.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear correspondence and teamwork.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; familiarity with Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Highly organized with strong planning skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
