This recruitment is being conducted to fill full-time vacancies. The current open positions are in Patrol Operations. The list established by this recruitment may be used to fill future full-time, part-time, limited term, and temporary vacancies for up to one year. The incumbent in this position will be expected to participate in performing a wide variety of civilian field and office law enforcement work in direct support of sworn personnel and may be assigned to traffic, patrol, evidence and property, or investigations. When assigned to the Traffic Division, incumbents will be responsible for receiving and processing abandoned vehicle notices, maintaining control status of reported vehicles, coordinating the removal of vehicles, and providing notification to registered owners. They will monitor and enforce City ordinances of non-criminal nature.
