Description:

Manager Facilities at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is full-time and works day shifts.

Under the general direction of the Director of Facilities, the Facilities Manager plans, develops, and coordinates the activities of the Plant Maintenance department. Responsibilities include managing daily department operations, assisting with fiscal management, staff development, and continuous improvement within their area of responsibility.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: NFPA 101 (National Fire Prevention Association) training, NFPA 99 (Healthcare Code)
  • Coursework/Training: 101 Cal OSHA training (must be completed within 3 months of employment or prior to assuming the role)
  • At least 3 years of experience in an acute care setting

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience
  • Training in building utility systems
  • Certification such as CHFM, CFM, CPM, or equivalent upon hire
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering or facilities services within a California acute care facility, including responsibilities for compliance with Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care Standards for healthcare facilities
