The City of Fairfield is accepting applications for a Public Works Inspector I/ II vacancy within the Public Works Department! The deadline to apply is September 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. with interviews tentatively scheduled for the week of October 6th. The successful Public Works Inspector I/ II candidate will inspect public and private improvement projects to ensure compliance with all approved plans, specifications, ordinances, rules, and regulations, enforce applicable safety standards and regulations, and perform soil testing.
