The Solano County Chapter of Project Linus is looking for volunteer "blanketeers" to make blankets that will be given to children in our area who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of a gift of a hand-made blanket.

Project Linus welcomes blankets of all styles, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors. Blankets must be new, handmade and washable.

Our "Blanketeers" range in age from 8- 94. Many of our area schools have requirements for students to complete community services hours every year. They find this to be a fun way to fulfill that need.
