Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Operations Intern to join our team.
Reporting to the Go-To-Market (GTM) Lead, you will play a key role in launching a new product by supporting initiatives across marketing, product readiness, customer support, and content monitoring. The Business Operations role is cross-functional and partners with senior leaders across the company, focusing on high-impact strategic projects and analyses. In this role, you'll work closely with leadership to identify, structure, and act on the strategic and operational questions that impact our business, while helping establish a strong product foundation in the U.S.
GTM Strategy & Business Operations:
- Partner closely with the GTM Lead and various teams at Naver HQ to ensure that marketing strategies are fully aligned with brand activation initiatives and new product launches.
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders to identify and manage key drivers of business performance, uncovering opportunities and integrating insights into GTM initiatives.
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making, guide prioritization, and uncover opportunities for growth in collaboration with Product, Growth, and GTM teams.
Content Monitoring & Customer Support
- Develop and support the implementation of effective content monitoring processes to ensure adherence to community guidelines and maintain a safe user environment.
- Review user-generated content for compliance and promptly identify and escalate inappropriate or harmful material.
- Oversee user support and feedback management to ensure a positive and consistent customer experience.
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of self-service resources and knowledge content to empower users and reduce support friction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution:
- Collaborate with NAVER-affiliated companies to plan, initiate, and execute co-marketing campaigns that maximize partnership value.
- Support creator program operations to build a creator community for ThingsBook.
- Support influencer marketing operations to ensure on-time content delivery and standardize the payout process.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights for strategic decisions.
- Basic proficiency in using data analysis tools.
- Clear understanding of key performance metrics (KPIs) and their role in driving business growth.
- Proven ability to identify operational inefficiencies, develop process improvements, and implement scalable business and operational systems.
- Resilient and adaptable mindset, with a willingness to take initiative and embrace change in dynamic environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Skills:
- 1–2 years of experience in business operations, data analytics, marketing operations or related fields.
- Experience working on customer support or content monitoring
- Experience working with remote, distributed, or international teams is a plus.
- Prior exposure to fast-paced startup environments or high-growth companies.
- Fluency in Korean is an advantage (spoken and written).
