Position Summary

Cogir seeks a dynamic, forward-thinking Regional Director of Operations to oversee and support a portfolio of senior living communities across Northern California, with monthly travel to Seattle. This leader will bring a balance of clinical expertise, financial acumen, and operational excellence to ensure high quality care, service, and results. The ideal candidate is high-energy, hands-on, flexible, and approachable, with a strong a0"Yes I Can" attitude, clear communication, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and day-to-day operational leadership for multiple senior living communities, ensuring high standards of care, service, and compliance.
  • Partner with Executives Directors and department leaders to drive occupancy growth, resident satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Oversee and analyze P&L performance, budget adherence, NOI growth, and labor management across the region.
  • Utilize clinical knowledge to support quality of care, regulatory compliance, and best practices in assisted living and memory care.
  • Lead communities through operational challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Support recruiting, training, and coaching of leadership teams to build a culture of accountability, service, and excellence.
  • Travel throughout Northern California communities and to Seattle at least once a month to provide on-site presence, coaching, and support.
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership on regional initiatives, innovation pilots, and strategic marketplace positioning.

Qualifications

Education and Certificates

  • Bachelor b4s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field is required.
  • Advanced degree or RN is a plus.

Experience, Competencies, and Skills

  • 5-10 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or memory care operations, including multi-site oversight.
  • Strong clinical background with understanding of regulatory standards and resident care needs.
  • Proven financial management skills, with ability to interpret P&L statements, drive NOI growth, and optimize labor models.
  • Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
  • Experience in memory care operations and innovative programming.
  • Ability to travel frequently across Northern California and monthly to Seattle.
  • High energy, adaptable, with a forward-thinking, hands-on leadership style.
  • Ability to travel at least 75% of the time within the assigned region.

Compensation

Salary: $170,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
