Compensation:

Estimated Taxable Weekly Pay: $2023.68

Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Variable shift with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Day shift 5x8-Hour schedule (06:00 - 14:30)
• Call only on weekends 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on a rotated basis
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, CA license
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Daily caseload of 20 patients per machine
• Work with 2 treatment rooms
• Handle special procedures including SRS and SBRT
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby
• Complete pre-start and annual modules averaging 16 hours
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• Facility can call off once per two-week pay period

Facility:

This acute care hospital features 200 staffed beds and utilizes Epic charting systems. The radiation therapy department operates with modern equipment including CT Simulator Toshiba technology and specializes in advanced treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery and stereotactic body radiation therapy. The facility provides comprehensive cancer care services and maintains high standards for patient treatment and safety protocols.
