Senior Manager, Technical Program Management - Capital One Software (Remote)

Capital One has built cloud and data management tools to enable scalable operations in the cloud. Capital One Software is working to accelerate the data management journey at scale for businesses operating in the cloud, including data publishing, data consumption, data governance, and infrastructure management. As a Capital One Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, youll be on the forefront of building this business and bringing these tools to market.

Responsibilities

• Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle

• Ability to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representatives

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in technical program management
• Bachelor's degree

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
• 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture preferably using AWS
• 3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms
• 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery
• Experience applying Generative AI to solve business problems and drive efficiency
• Experience leading technical programs in data security, governance or compliance-focused environment
• Familiarity with core data security and privacy principles, including data classification, encryption (at-rest and in-transit), access control, and secure data lifecycle management
• 3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs - where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact
• Experience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)

• The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed-upon hours. Remote (Regardless of Location): $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management; Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location.
• This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
