• You are a seasoned retail manager who understands what motivates your staff and knows how to take them to the next level.

• You will develop a culture of accuracy and timeliness in daily tasks, inventory management, customer follow-up, and attendance, and watch them fly with it
• You can predict mid-month whether your store will reach its stated goals and visualize what needs to be done to get your team over the finish line
• Achieve financial objectives by managing payroll and other expenses, and
• Plan and maintain staff schedules at least two weeks in advance
• Ensure effective communication by conducting regular staff meetings and participating in regional conference calls with superiors

Requirements:

• Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Time/deadline management skills, attention to detail, and consistency are a must.

Knowledge of, or enthusiasm for, bicycles and the bicycle industry is a huge plus.

• Proven ability to plan and accomplish goals with a demonstrated history of growing businesses
• Strong coaching, development, and performance feedback skills
• Strong leadership presence, including the ability to engender confidence and enthusiasm during periods of change or slower business
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and on-the-fly thinking to match the fast-moving shop environment.
• Above average people skills to finesse sticky customer situations and build lasting relationships

Physical Demands and Working Environment:

• Continuous standing or walking, lifting up to 40 lbs., reaching arms above head, some ladder use, computer operation, hand coordination, color coordination of merchandise, telephone use, reading, writing, and speaking.
