Hiring Manufacturing Associates for one of the top Biotech labs in Vacaville, CA! Upstream/Downstream Operations! Great for entry level candidates looking to build a long-term career in Biomanufacturing!

Location: Vacaville, CA

Pay Rates:

  • Day Shift (Shift 1): $25.00/hour
  • Night Shift (Shift 3): $27.50/hour
  • Note: MUST be flexible and open to either shift. While preferences will be considered, final shift assignment will be confirmed upon offer.

Shift Schedule & Structure

These roles follow a 3-4-3 rotating shift pattern:

Day Shift AND Night Shift

Upstream

6:00 AM 7:00 PM

6:00 PM 7:00 AM

Downstream

6:30 AM 7:30 PM

6:30 PM - 7:30 AM

Position Overview

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a key role in the production of therapeutic proteins (API) under cGMP conditions. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in biomanufacturing, with hands-on training and exposure to industry-standard practices.

You will be responsible for executing process recipes, following SOPs, monitoring equipment and processes, performing basic lab tasks, and maintaining facility cleanliness. The role requires attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

40%: Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment and processes, including CIP/SIP operations. Document activities in accordance with GMP and GDP standards.

20%: Complete training and attain qualifications for assigned tasks. Maintain an up-to-date individual training plan.

10%: Perform basic lab tasks such as pH and conductivity testing, and sample analysis.

10%: Transfer raw materials and chemicals across production areas.

10%: Conduct routine cleaning and sanitization of equipment and facility. Support 6S initiatives.

10%: Participate in administrative duties including shift exchanges, meetings, email communications, and project support.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required AS/BS in a science-related discipline preferred.

Experience: 03 years of experience; prior exposure to manufacturing or lab environments is a plus.

Skills:

Strong logic and decision-making abilities

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
