Job Description & Requirements

Core Responsibilities & Skills
- Histology: Grossing, embedding (small, large, molds, skin, GI, excision), microtomy, staining (H&E, automated IHC, special stains), frozen sections
- Cytology: Thin prep, cell block, cytospin, gyn specimens
- Tissue Processing: Automated/manual microtome, tissue processor, additive fixatives, decalcification, dehydration, clearing
- Specimen Handling: Core biopsies, shave biopsies, excision, cytology prep, frozen section prep
- Lab Support: Phlebotomy, collaboration with Radiology
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hospital experience (grossing required)
- ASCP-HT certification and Associate's degree in Science
