Responsibilities

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, setting up, scanning and processing of MRI exams. The position is also responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, starting IVs and contributing to the efficient operation of the department assuring the quality and continuity of patient care. May be required to take call.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a radiographic program approved by the JCERT, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American College of Radiology.
• National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging upon hire, Or
• National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year experience in an acute care setting.
• Hospital experience.

Compensation

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Pay Range: $52.25 - $81.10
