Role Description

Ridge Ventures is hiring an Associate to join our lean investment team in San Francisco. This is a full-stack role: sourcing, diligence, portfolio support, analytics, LP research, events, and building a network of peers. This is initially a 2-year role, with the possibility of evolving into a partner-track position.

Responsibilities

Sourcing:

· Attend and host events, meet founders, and build relationships.

· Develop thesis areas, drive targeted outreach, and grow a founder network.

Diligence:

· Begin by shadowing partners, then run workstreams.

· Progress to managing full diligence processes.

Analytics & Research:

· Build financial models, competitive/sector maps, and conduct customer calls.

· Support portfolio projects, LP research, and firm presentations.

Requirements

· Technical degree or experience strongly preferred (can understand code and/or scrap some tools together).

· 2+ years of professional experience post-college.

· Daily use of AI tools is required.

· Able to work closely with me. (Consider this both an opportunity and a test of patience.)
