Responsible for the set up and calibration of anesthesia equipment and supplies needed for each operation or procedure. Supports the functionality of the department by distributing supplies and performing equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care. Job Description:EDUCATION:Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Other: Completion of an Anesthesia Technician Course. CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider. TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:1 year recent relevant experience. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:General knowledge of anesthesia related tools, procedures, views, and equipment.
