Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $22.00

Shifts Needed: AM and PM

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily routines as outlined in the Individual Program Plan for clients.
• Support each resident in meeting their personal goals while participating in the development of their IPP/ISP goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for residents.
• Encourage social interactions by taking residents to visit family, friends, and recreational activities.
• Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, hygiene needs, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure a clean-up afterward.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed using company vehicles.
• Document incidents, report concerns, and maintain communication with supervisors on a daily basis.
• Undertake other assigned tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of professional or personal caregiving experience is preferred, especially with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges.
• Direct Support Professional Certification (Year 1 & Year 2) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training preferred or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of employment.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid California Driver's License is required.
• Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including a background check, is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
