About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Health Economics and Market Access Strategy to lead the development and execution of comprehensive strategies for securing coding, coverage, and payment for its innovative portfolio of products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for both the strategic and operational aspects of market access, including direct engagement with a range of stakeholders such as providers, professional societies, and payers. This role requires a deep understanding of reimbursement mechanisms, particularly in at-risk asymptomatic populations, and the ability to drive cost-effectiveness analyses. The VP will also be tasked with designing communication tools that effectively articulate the clinical and economic value of the company's technologies and will be expected to foster partnerships with payers to support education and explore alternative payment models.
Applicants for the VP position should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in health economics and reimbursement, with a strong background in the medical device, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals sectors. The role demands exceptional communication skills, strong leadership, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. A proven track record in leading health economics and outcomes research activities, as well as experience in managing teams across different locations, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and a history of successful engagement with decision-makers in U.S. private and government payer organizations. The VP will be expected to act as a subject matter expert, educating cross-functional teams on reimbursement and market access strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
