Job Description

The Research Scientist II PCR/qPCR/dPCR Development will play a key role in developing and optimizing PCR, qPCR, and dPCR assays and technologies. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of molecular biology techniques, PCR chemistry, and data analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and optimize PCR, qPCR, and dPCR assays for various applications
2. Conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of new assays and technologies
3. Troubleshoot assay development and optimization issues
4. Analyze data and prepare reports on assay performance
5. Collaborate with other R&D scientists and engineers
6. Stay updated on the latest developments in PCR, qPCR, and dPCR technologies

Qualifications:

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in PCR, qPCR, and dPCR assay development and optimization
• Strong understanding of molecular biology techniques, PCR chemistry, and data analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
