GovCIO Business Analyst

GovCIO is currently recruiting strong Business Analysts to support critical software services delivery initiatives. The positions are fully remote. Interested in working with a seasoned team with a record of success? This positions is fully remote located within the United States.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. They may have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows. May also be functional experts in financial, program control or logistical areas.

Qualifications

Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.
  • Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization.
  • Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out.
  • Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage.
  • Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.
  • Experience supporting Project Management generating work breakdown schedules and discussing feature prioritization trade offs.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Comfortable wearing many hats in a matrix and fast paced team environment
  • A passion for continuous learning and working with technologies.
  • Front end screen mocking and functional modeling in high-touch, customer centric development environments.
  • Family with scrum concepts and terminology and working in a daily standup oriented environment.
  • Experience working with functional and non-functional story and task generation. Understanding of Kanban and Scrum and when to leverage.
  • Emerging understanding of AI and its application in the delivery of programs and software services.

Posted Pay Range: USD $100,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr.
