Job Summary

As a Patient Services Representative I (PSR I), you will provide essential front-line patient care, collecting high-quality blood specimens in a professional and compassionate manner. You will support both routine and life-critical diagnostics, ensuring each patient experience is safe, accurate, and confidential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draw and prepare specimens for clinical and forensic lab testing
  • Deliver a patient-friendly and professional collection experience
  • Perform specimen processing tasks in line with lab standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance within the collection area
  • Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping
  • Work independently in high-paced environments with minimal supervision
  • Support scheduling flexibility including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours
Required Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience
  • Excellent pediatric and geriatric blood collection skills
  • Phlebotomy certification required in California
  • Proficient in keyboarding and data entry
  • Independent work ethic and customer-oriented mindset
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • One or more years of phlebotomy experience
  • Medical assistant or paramedic background
  • Experience in a service, retail, or patient-facing environment
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
