Are you a mature student, at least 18-years old, looking for an opportunity to volunteer and to gain experience in a professional setting? Continuum Hospice will work with your weekday schedule and train you to provide valuable office or patient and family care assistance. Qualified applicants are interested in learning about hospice and understand the sensitive nature of our work. Volunteers will receive orientation to hospice concepts as well as training for your specific office support tasks to feel purposeful and successful with your time with us. You will feel well-supported in this small, friendly office atmosphere. This is ideal as a non-paid internship or qualify for school volunteer hours. Must follow all CDC guidelines.

• Understanding and supportive of hospice philosophy.
• Compassionate person who is accepting and respectful of people's differences.
• Must have their own transportation.
• The ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to pass background check requirements and drug screen.
• CMS requires that all patient-facing staff, as well as those that are in contact with patient-facing staff, be fully vaccinated, or have a documented religious or medical exemption. This important rule is required for all healthcare organizations that receive federal funds through Medicare or Medicaid.
