Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Remington standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing proper attire and name tag when working
Comply at all times with Remington standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
Must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and fellow employees
Greet and welcome all guests and members
Check guests and members in and out: administer keys to locker areas
Process transactions for all events, guest fees, membership fees, dues, etc.
Handle all administrative functions of the spa including use of Spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, make appointments, and answer questions.
Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e. treatments, equipment and products)
Must be able to assist guests in the retail area
Arrange for all spa appointments for a la carte services/activities and packages
Must monitor appointments and ensure proper staffing to maintain sense of order and efficiency
Assist guests and members with spa prescriptions
Ensure facility is prepared for proper opening and closing each day
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order
Marginal:
Provide Spa tours as necessary
Attend meetings/training as required by management
Perform other duties as requested by management
Requirements:
Essential Duties:
To warmly greet, tour and service all spa guests as requested.
To monitor spa locker rooms to ensure linens, robes, supplies and furniture are in their appropriate places.
To replenish linen, robes, products, lockers and other guest supplies as standard in spa.
To assist spa therapists with equipment and supplies for spa or in-suite services.
To setup guest rooms for in-suite spa treatments according to protocols in place.
To deliver spa guest supplies to cottages as requested.
To perform opening and closing checklists on a daily basis, replenishing supplies, and cleaning equipment.
To perform monthly linen inventory linens.
Facilitate laundry services to ensure that the laundry is sorted and available for pickup as directed
To assist with special projects, events and promotions as needed and use available time to help with spa operations as requested.
To consistently set and maintain the highest standards of personalized guest service, cleanliness and safety at all times while maintaining an enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
To respond to guests' concerns, suggestions or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
To maintain a working knowledge of all services and products, and recommend them to guests as appropriate.
To attend all scheduled treatment and product knowledge training sessions and to assist in the training of other team members as directed.
To represent and market Bardessono in a positive and professional manner as requested and continually promote Bardessono internally and externally by attending special events when requested and building relationships both on and off property.
To promote and comply with all policies and procedures of Bardessono.
To immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions and avoid injury to self and others.
To maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas and equipment at all times.
To attend all mandatory meetings as directed
To perform other tasks, including cross-training as directed.
