Insight Global is seeking a skilled and personable Planview Engineer to sit remote. This person will lead the configuration, administration, and optimization of its Planview system. This role blends technical expertise with strong interpersonal and communication skills to support business operations and drive workflow efficiency.

The Key Responsibilities for the role are below:

• Serve as the primary administrator for Planview, including user provisioning, license management, and Tier 1 troubleshooting.

• Configure and customize Planview modules: PPM Pro (requests, workflows, approvals, time tracking), Project Module (track IT projects, maintenance, and support work), ProjectPlace (Kanban-style work management), AgilePlace (support Agile teams).

• Lead training sessions for onboarding new users.

• Present weekly Planview support updates during open office hours (Thursdays at 2 PM).

• Create and maintain technical documentation, how-to guides, and change logs.

• Develop and deliver executive-level reporting on resource and capacity using Power BI.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess new workflow needs and configure solutions.

• Design and implement integration strategies using Planview APIs and JSON (preferred).

• Ensure data integrity through mapping, validation, and cleansing processes.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience configuring and customizing Planview (PPM Pro, ProjectPlace, AgilePlace).

• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing workflows, managing user roles, and maintaining system integrity.

• 5 + years as the primary administrator for Planview:

Provisioning new users and decommission accounts

Managing licenses and access controls

Conducting onboarding training for new employees

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system optimization.
