Role Summary/Purpose:
The VP, Campaign Orchestration will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that support the strategic growth of the Health & Wellness independent segment. This role will drive alignment across B2B and DTC channels, standardize campaign orchestration processes to ensure consistent, high-quality messaging that maximizes customer engagement and business impact. The VP will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, data-driven campaigns that advance Synchrony's Health & Wellness marketing goals and accelerate our path to 2X26 and beyond.
The critical experiences the incumbent would acquire in this role include: Senior Leadership Interaction, Campaign Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Strategic Marketing Execution, and Data-Driven Decision Making.
Essential Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end orchestration of integrated marketing campaigns targeted at the independent segment, ensuring messaging is tailored, consistent, and resonates across multiple Health & Wellness industries.
Provide centralized strategic leadership and align campaign efforts with overall business objectives and strategic initiatives.
Develop and enforce standardized processes for campaign planning and execution across both B2B and DTC channels, breaking down silos to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
Collaborate closely with marketing teams responsible for content creation across channels, fostering a unified and engaging campaign presence.
Establish frameworks for measuring campaign performance, tracking key metrics, and driving continuous optimization through data-driven insights.
Communicate regularly with senior leadership on campaign performance, strategic progress, and opportunities for growth.
Lead, mentor, and empower Campaign Orchestration Leads, setting clear expectations and enabling their effective coordination of acquisition, lifecycle, experience & loyalty, creative, Martech, and performance marketing teams.
Lead post-launch campaign reviews by analyzing performance data and feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and scaling.
Drive knowledge sharing of best practices, learnings, and strategic recommendations for future campaigns within and beyond the team.
Develop and maintain feedback processes that enable continuous campaign refinement and innovation.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or, in lieu of a degree, a high school equivalent plus 12 years of marketing leadership within credit card or Health & Wellness industry.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in campaign management, marketing operations, or strategic marketing leadership—preferably within Health & Wellness or related industries.
Demonstrated success managing integrated marketing campaigns across B2B and DTC channels.
Strong project management skills with experience driving standardized processes and scalable solutions.
Expertise in data analysis, performance measurement, and optimization of marketing campaigns.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence senior leaders.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a focus on execution excellence.
Desired Characteristics:
Prior leadership experience in campaign orchestration or marketing operations.
Deep understanding of Health & Wellness market dynamics and independent segment marketing.
Experience working in matrixed organizations with cross-functional and dispersed teams.
Strong analytical skills coupled with clear and compelling communication abilities.
Self-starter with excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Track record of delivering results and driving business impact in complex environments.
Grade/Level: 13
The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months' time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months' time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don't meet the time in position or performance expectations).
