Century Group has partnered with an organization who is seeking a Staff Accountant. This is an onsite position located in Petaluma. This is a direct hire position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Post monthly depreciation, create formal asset acquisition and disposal processes, take a lead on an aggregate fixed asset project to identify assets we hold and assets we may need to dispose of that are no longer physically identifiable
• Assist Accounting Manager in implementing budgets, communicate budget verse actuals to department managers monthly, review quarterly budget to actuals to identify significant fluctuations
• Work with supply chain and other international offices to keep intercompany pricing and costs up to date monthly
• Lead the team in making sure all month end entries are made before the first of the month, and post other various monthly journal entries such as expense accruals, depreciation, and intercompany accounts.
• Assist Accounting Manager in taking a lead with other various projects

• Manufacturing industry experience
