Job Description

We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Accounting department to maintain accurate financial records. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions and bringing the books to the trial balance stage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Enter financial data and transactions
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Complete required tax forms
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • College degree in accounting or a related field
  • Previous experience as a bookkeeper, or similar position
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBook
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
