Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our Construction team. You will oversee and deliver construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, and workflow coordination. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in construction management and be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a diverse team of professionals toward achieving common goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
• Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance.
• Review the work progress on a daily basis.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
• Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and licenses.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience in project management 5-15 years ideally.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expertise in construction project management software.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or relevant field.
• PMP or equivalent certification would be considered an asset.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Project management and supervision skills.
• Decision making ability and leadership skills.
• Current engineer license in the state of practice.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
