Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a hospital construction project in Napa, CA. This role requires a strong background in vertical construction and HVAC systems, with the ability to manage all aspects of a complex healthcare facility build. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery while meeting the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning & Coordination
* Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resources.
* Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones.
* On-Site Management
* Oversee daily construction activities and site operations for the hospital project.
* Supervise subcontractors and site personnel, resolving issues promptly to avoid delays.
* Technical Oversight
* Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
* Ensure HVAC systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to meet healthcare facility requirements.
* Cost & Quality Control
* Track project costs, manage change orders, and prepare detailed progress reports.
* Conduct inspections to maintain high-quality standards throughout all phases.
* Compliance & Safety
* Maintain strict compliance with hospital construction codes, healthcare regulations, and OSHA safety requirements.
Qualifications
* Education:
* Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Experience:
* 510 years in construction management, with substantial experience in vertical construction.
* Proven track record managing vertical projects. Medical or public works preferred.
* Hands-on involvement with HVAC systems in large-scale facilities.
* Skills:
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
* Ability to interpret complex construction documents.
* Certifications (Preferred):
* PMP, LEED Accreditation, OSHA Safety Certification.
