As a Self Storage Customer Service Associate, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining our property while providing exceptional customer service.

Your Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Build customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and offering tailored solutions while delivering an outstanding experience.
  • Engage face-to-face with customers, providing excellent service and building rapport.
  • Meet monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Conduct property walks to perform lock checks and showcase available units.
  • Collaborate with the team to rent self-storage spaces, sell merchandise, manage the leasing process, and handle payments via our Point-of-Sale System (POS). Complete daily bank deposits and make courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.

Property Maintenance:

  • Perform physical tasks such as daily property walks, cleaning units, and managing storage door operations (up to 50 lbs).
  • Maintain the facility, including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, and similar light activities.
  • Ensure the storage facility remains clean and safe, meeting company guidelines (e.g., clean restrooms, landscaping, and general maintenance).

Qualifications:

  • A positive and outgoing personality with a passion for helping people.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality customer service to a diverse audience.
  • Basic computer skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be available to work Saturdays.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance with access to reliable transportation for work-related tasks.
  • Ability to frequently stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, or balance on a ladder while performing job duties.

The hourly rate for this role is $18.72 - $20.29, based on experience.

*Some locations may require Sunday hours.
