Pay Range: $120,000+ per year plus benefits

Position Overview

Provide overall construction management through all facets of the pre-construction, bid and award, construction, and close- out phase of all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates 60%, 90% and 100% design drawing reviews with hospital administration and facilities for completeness and provides comments to the design team.
  • Oversee daily construction activities and site operations for the hospital.
  • Supervise contractors and site personnel, resolving issues promptly to avoid delays.
  • Plans, organizes, and prepares reports to upper management with respect to the status and/or progress of the projects
  • Manages both the project budget and schedule to meet the hospital's qualitative standards;
  • Monitors project budget on a monthly basis and ensures that the budget accurately reflects the project status.
  • Manages daily activities of the contractor, reviews contractors' construction schedules and submittals, and coordinates responses to the contractors' inquiries thru the RFI process.
  • Receives, reviews, and negotiates Contractor Change Order Proposals to achieve a fair and reasonable price in accordance with the General Conditions. Reviews and addresses schedule impacts in accordance with the project specifications in a timely manner
  • Monitors and manages project close-out with respect to project certification with the Division of State Architects (DSA) Inspector of Record (IOR) and project financial close out

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

  • At least 5–10 years in constructionmanagement, with substantial experience in vertical construction
  • Proven track record managing vertical projects. Medical or public works preferred
  • Hands-on involvement with HVACsystemsin large-scale facilities.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to interpret complex construction documents.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP, LEED Accreditation, OSHA Safety Certification.
