Manufacturing Associate (Night Shift)

Location: Novato, CA.

6-Month Assignment

Pay Rate: $28/hr. / $30.80 / $32.20 (Depends on shift)

Open Shifts: SET Schedule / Room for OT

Night Shift: Wednesday-Saturday 6:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3x12/4x12 schedule alternating weekly on Saturday)

Join our client, a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to developing life-changing therapeutics for patients with rare genetic diseases. We are on the lookout for a dedicated Manufacturing Associate with hands-on experience in large-scale bioprocessing, buffer/media preparation, and a strong commitment to cGMP compliance.

As a Manufacturing Associate, you will play a key role in cell culture, purification, and formulation processes while applying your solid understanding of scientific principles and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate large-scale equipment to support Cell Culture and Purification operations.
• Prepare buffer and media solutions for production batches effectively.
• Acquire and execute biopharmaceutical manufacturing techniques, including tangential flow filtration, chromatography, and formulation.
• Adhere to SOPs and meticulously document all processes as per GDP and regulatory guidelines.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate process issues while contributing to effective resolution strategies.
• Support the integration of new technologies and practices into established processes.
• Propose and assist with procedural enhancements and updates.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or engineering.
• OR Associate's degree in a science-related field or Biotech Certificate with 2+ years experience in biotech manufacturing or other regulated industries.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs.), reaching, and using stairs and ladders.
• Willingness to work night shifts and exhibit flexibility with off-hours as needed.
