Job Details

As a Fire Extinguisher Technician, you will play a vital role in keeping people and property safe from fires. You will inspect, install, test, and maintain fire extinguishers and other fire suppression systems to ensure they are in good working order. Your attention to detail and technical skills will help prevent fires from starting and quickly extinguish them if they do. Applicant must have a valid state fire extinguisher service license. A clean California drivers license is required. Kaiser provided after 90 day probation period also 401 k after 1st year, paid holidays and PTO

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire extinguishers and other fire suppression systems to ensure they meet safety standards
• Install fire extinguishers and other fire suppression systems in commercial and residential buildings
• Test fire extinguishers and other fire suppression systems to ensure they are working properly
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, installations, tests, and maintenance
• Educate customers about fire safety and the proper use of fire extinguishers
• Troubleshoot problems with fire extinguishers and other fire suppression systems
• Replace or repair fire extinguishers and other fire suppression systems as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents

Requirements

• 1-2 years
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver License
• Authorized to work in US
• Stand long periods
