Physical Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of assigned areas, including multi‑level buildings and outdoor spaces.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies or incidents, including sprinting short distances if required.
• Operate security equipment (radios, keys, locks) efficiently.
• Lift and carry equipment or materials up to 50 lb. during tasks or emergencies.
• Utilize vision and hearing to monitor surroundings and detect potential threats.
• De‑escalate stressful or volatile situations with professionalism and effective communication.
• Maintain focus and alertness throughout long shifts.
• Assist in evacuations or other emergency responses, supporting individuals in need.
• Keep detailed activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, and observations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for any incidents to ensure clear records.
• Uphold a professional demeanor, representing the company and its clients with integrity and respect.
• Adhere to legal standards, company policies, and client‑specific protocols.
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards consistently.
• Show strong interpersonal skills when interacting with the public, clients, and team members.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current California Guard Card License.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (if applicable).
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficiency with basic computer and smartphone usage.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong listening skills, patience, and compassion for community members experiencing emotional or psychological challenges.
• Ability to remain calm in crisis situations, think critically, de‑escalate conflicts, and communicate effectively.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in accordance with all laws, regulations, company policies, and confidentiality standards.
• Ensure compliance with both company and client policies and procedures and be open to performance improvement.
• Clear understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols.
• At least one year of experience in security, mobile patrol, or event staff roles.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
