Description:
Full-service community hospital providing laboratory services to the inpatient population.
The patient age range spans from infant to geriatric, with a majority being adult and geriatric.
Special care services include oncology, labor and delivery, surgical, and trauma.
Pediatric experience is preferred, including skilled use of pediatric finger sticks and heel sticks.
Shifts available include daytime and nighttime with varied start times.
The facility has a guaranteed hours policy with potential call-offs.
Travelers may be required to float between related units.
Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays is needed.
References from previous supervisors covering at least 1 year of employment are required.
The provider must supply their own communication devices.
Candidates should research housing options in the area, as availability may be limited.
Modules are to be completed pre-start and annually; time spent on modules is self-reported.
