Description

Cookie dough production facility seeking a versatile Dishwasher/Dough Packer to join our team in Vallejo. This role is responsible for keeping our production kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. In addition to washing and sanitizing dishes, baking tools, and equipment, you'll help pack frozen dough into boxes and stack them on pallets for storage and delivery. This role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility. The Dishwasher/Dough Packer ensures that dishes, utensils, and baking tools are spotless, assists with boxing dough safely and correctly, and collaborates with teammates on cleaning and upkeep of kitchen equipment and work areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, utensils, baking tools, and equipment, including large scale 60 - 140 quart mixing bowls and full-size sheet pans.
• Safely pack frozen dough into boxes and stack on pallets.
• Clean and maintain large equipment, including ovens, mixers, and sinks.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, trash areas, and storage spaces.
• Keep floors spotless through regular sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping.
• Assist with general cleaning tasks such as wiping surfaces, emptying garbage/recycling, and restocking supplies.
• Monitor and maintain dishwashing equipment.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Work collaboratively with bakers, kitchen staff, and management to support a clean and efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a bakery, commercial kitchen, or food production facility highly preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
• Valid CA Food Handler certificate required.
• Physical stamina is required
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented required.
• Friendly attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Schedule & Pay

• Weekday shifts (Monday-Friday)
• Full-time or part-time shifts available
• $17 per hour with opportunity for intermittent spot bonuses as the company grows
