Shipping/Receiving ClerkJob Location: Sonoma, CaliforniaJob Type: TemporaryPay Rate: $22-$22.50/hourSchedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pmDescription of Position:Do you have experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk? Our client in Sonoma is seeking a dependable and reliable Packing/Shipping Clerk to join their team. While prior packing experience is ideal, training will be provided for the right candidate who can pick things up quickly.Job Responsibilities:Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipmentsPrepare items for shipment and ensure accuracy of packagingCompare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures against bill of lading, invoices, or ordersDetermine method of shipment using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and ratesInspect products for defects and accuracy before shipmentPost outbound deliveries using designated softwarePull, pack, and ship finished goods in a timely mannerReceive incoming shipments, verify contents, and record accuratelyEnsure product codes and paperwork match the productOperate forklift to move shipments from storage to palletsPerform daily cycle counting of assigned areasDescription of Company:You will be supporting a well established manufacturing company in Sonoma.Experience Required:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a warehouse environment requiredForklift experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsDependable, reliable, and able to work independentlySimilar Positions:Warehouse AssociateLogistics CoordinatorInventory SpecialistMaterial HandlerOrder Fulfillment SpecialistBolt Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
