Role Overview:

As a Senior Technical Product Manager and a Product Owner, you will be part of PT&D Digital Energy Solutions' Product Management and Technical Pre-sales team under CTO organization to drive innovation around our Digital Energy Solutions Products for the Cleantech/Energy & Utilities products. You will help develop, document, and execute a comprehensive plan to understand user needs, iterate on product scope and ensure the timely development of highly complex technical products. With the CTO, you will be responsible for giving our teams the information and product methodology needed to succeed and continuously help us improve as an organization.

Responsibilities:

The candidate must have strong technical skills and rich energy & utilities industry experience in product engineering/development roles to be able to meet job requirements. This position demands a mix of management and technical skills to lead development teams. In this role you will:
  • Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into technical product (functional/non-functional/technical) requirements.
  • bility to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, as well as business operations such as Product marketing managers, business segment teams (Business Analysts).
  • Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Understand, research, and follow technical trends in the industry and in general.
  • Follow competitors and conduct technical capability analysis regularly.
  • Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
  • nswer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities to support Sales & Marketing teams.
  • ssess, document, and address technical risks in collaboration with architecture and product development teams.
  • Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert to the technical/developer community.
  • Coordinate beta tests and define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
  • Lead technical pre-sales activities and technical product/solution demos supporting sales & marketing team.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, And Experience:
  • Bachelors' Degree with 5 years of Product Engineering/ Technical Product Management experience (3+ years with master's degree) for Power Transmission & Distribution System Automation & Control Software Domain
  • gile based SDLC experience with enterprise level environments for 5+ years
  • 4 years' experience as a Product Owner
  • 2 years' experience in scrum, CICD, and DevOps.
  • Experienced in requirements gathering and aggregation.
  • Experience in digital/software solutions for Electrical Power Transmission & Distribution Industry.
  • Scripting / Programming skills.
