Veterinary Assistant

VCA Animal Care Clinic is adding a Veterinary Assistant to our team!

Location: 3340 San Pablo Dam Road San Pablo, CA 94803

Compensation: $22 - $38/hr

Schedule: Full Time

As a Veterinary Assistant on the VCA Animal Care Clinic team, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technicians team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:

• Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
