This role is perfect for someone who excels in a dynamic, cross-functional environment and is eager to contribute to the evolution of private market infrastructure.

  • Opportunity Sourcing: Actively build a comprehensive pipeline of fund and co-investment opportunities through outreach and network relationships.
  • IC Process Ownership: Prepare and present thorough investment recommendations to the Investment Committee with clarity and balance.
  • Product Collaboration: Work closely with product, technology, and operations teams to enhance platform features and improve the investment journey.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Assist with post-investment updates, quarterly reporting, and ongoing portfolio analytics.
  • Thought Leadership: Create insights, thematic research, and content to amplify our client's market presence.
  • Internal Enablement: Educate internal stakeholders about trends and investment themes in the private markets.
  • External Representation: Attend industry events and engage in investor meetings while serving as a public representative for our client.

Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years of experience in private markets, including venture capital, fund-of-funds, family office, RIA, or institutional allocator roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of the VC/PE landscape, encompassing emerging trends, fund structures, and market dynamics.
  • Proven success in building GP relationships and obtaining exclusive access.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and intellectual curiosity, allowing for insights beyond the data.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in uncertain environments, takes initiative, and builds from the ground up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex topics.
  • Product-oriented perspective: understands the intersection of investment workflows, technology, and operations.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through.
  • Bachelor's degree required; CFA or CAIA (or progress towards) is preferred.

Why Join Our Client?

  • Become part of a mission-driven organization aiming to modernize access and infrastructure in private markets.
  • Collaborate with a top-notch team across investing, product, and technology domains.
  • Take on a leadership position that influences the future of a rapidly growing fintech platform.
